Game Design Mechanics

This week we discuss what types of Game Mechanics exist and what we find most valuable about them. We also start questioning why VR? We could do almost anything, but we know for the experience we are searching for, VR is the most likely to give us what we require. For now, our game mechanics will be primarily exploratory, and we can get further interactions once we further clarify the story. So far we have not named any of the characters or examined their motivations. Without motivations, we don't have objects to pick up or rewards because the characters have no ambition. We will be focusing on what drives our characters this week, so the next few weeks we can begin sketching.
